Anderson .Paak
Grammy award-winning singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, and drummer from Oxnard, California

“It is such an honor to be able to give back to my hometown, so I am delighted to join the Honorary Board of Directors of the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.  OPAC is a special and vital place where local artists and youth can create and be inspired. I know first-hand how important that can be so I’m honored to be part of OPAC.”

Musician, Producer, Founding Member and drummer for Las Cafeteras

"I’m a son to immigrant parents who came to Oxnard 40 years ago.  I grew up in north Oxnard, went to public schools, community college and was among the very first in my entire family to go off and graduate from college.  I always knew I would move back and get involved in my community which is why I’m so grateful to be invited to be part of the honorary board at the OPAC.  We can only start to imagine the great potential that exists when all the great young talents of Oxnard can find support and a home for their art within the walls of the OPAC.  Honored to lend my support to those who work everyday to make that a reality."

"I'm so excited to have been asked to be on the Honorary Board of Directors for OPAC. The Center is a staple of Oxnard, one of the few from my childhood that still remains. The people of Oxnard need a place like the PACC they can go to, that represents their interests. As a member of the Honorary Board of Directors and an artist who truly loves the people, I'll do all I can to help it stay that way!"

"Having moved our business to Oxnard in 1990 I feel very much a part of the Oxnard community. Appreciating the arts should be a part of a person's life and can also be life changing. Supporting the Oxnard Performing Arts Center and being invited to be part of their Honorary Board of Directors is truly an honor for me."

"OPAC provides an opportunity for Oxnard residents to express, enjoy and create art and culture. I am so pleased that the artists and those of us who thrive on the arts of all kinds can find a destination in the heart of our City. Congratulations to all who are helping to make it a reality.”
